I’m Vanessa, a Bermudian artist. I have always been drawn to the quiet beauty of the world around me, the way sunlight moves across leaves, the textures of the Caribbean landscape, and the stories that color and nature tell. Creating has always been my way of noticing life, slowing down, and sharing that sense of calm and wonder with others.
My work, whether a drawing or mixed media piece, is created using traditional materials such as pastel, charcoal, ink, and collage. Each piece is an invitation to pause, to breathe, and to bring a little more intention and joy into everyday life. I hope it transforms spaces into places of reflection, warmth, and comfort, a sanctuary for both the eyes and the soul.
I am endlessly inspired by nature, by the rhythms of life, and by the vibrant culture of my Caribbean heritage. These influences infuse my work with color, texture, and emotion. But beyond technique or medium, what matters most to me is the experience each piece creates, how it makes you feel in your home, how it sparks reflection, and how it reminds you to slow down and savor life’s simple moments.
